And yes, we are all at the same point, confined to our homes for some and for others forced to report to work and face the danger of Covid-19 every day.
Who could have said that our peaceful life would turn out this way. In the space of a few days, the whole world lives the same situation in unison. It’s almost unbelievable that at the same time, from one end of the world to the other, people have the same concerns. We would have liked to unite people in such a way that it would have been impossible for us to achieve our goal.
Anyway, on our side, we are getting ready for next season because after this tragedy, life will return to normal and we hope another season of fishing for small fish in the channels will arrive so that people can come and visit us and take their minds off it. Each one of us will have lived this break from the world in our own way and we will have our life experiences to share. Maybe we will come out of it as winners and filled with kindness towards our fellow men.
For the past few days, I have been noticing an unsuspected solidarity among my fellow citizens and all this warms my heart. It took a pandemic to bring out the best in us.
In summary, here in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade, we are following the government’s recommendations with the primary objective of being able to welcome you again next winter for another season of fishing for small fish in the channels. The firewood is finished and rest assured that you will be welcomed in cottages that are as clean and warm as ever.
