Here we are already at January 30, 2019.
Only a few weeks left in the fishing season for small channel fish and it will be a thing of the past. Of course, it’s far from over but more than half of the season is over. And really successfully completed because both weekdays and weekends, the fish in the channels are in abundance and the customers are delighted to be able to take advantage of this seasonal richness.
Our small village comes to life with this multitude of tourists who come and go non-stop and with whom we share with pleasure this manna that has been offered to us every winter for so many years now.
Since December 26th, thousands of visitors have been passing by and we have the opportunity to show ourselves at our best. Our village is our pride and joy all year round, but with the peculiarity of putting on a coat of ice during the winter, it is one of the uncommon attractions to visit.
The outfitters of the Ste-Anne River are working hard for 2 months to make our Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade shine. Without forgetting all the local merchants who offer everything that these visitors may need. It’s a flawless organization. Whether it is the hardware store, the grocery store, the pharmacy, the B&Bs, the restaurants and gas stations with convenience stores or other businesses, there is something for everyone and that’s good.
Isn’t that what keeps the economy of a village like Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade healthy?
Whether we are outfitters fishing for small channel fish or simply residents of Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade, our little village is a great place to live and we are always pleased to welcome people who want to share what we have to offer.
We hope to see you soon!
