And yes, it’s back to school. Whether it’s for children returning to school, for their parents finding some peace and quiet in the house, or for anyone else who needs to realize that the remaining days of summer are numbered. But there is almost a month left in this sweet season that warms our hearts and bodies with its energetic rays. For us, outfitters of the Ste-Anne River, it is also time to return to the work site to make the next season of fishing for small fishes of the channels a success. When I talk about construction site, I’m talking about cottage renovations. At the end of each summer, we have to put these little houses back on their feet so that our beautiful ice village will be reborn next winter. Put them back on their feet also for you, dear friends who come every winter to encourage us. You deserve that we receive you without sparing our efforts. In any case, rest assured that our fishing cabins will be ready for you and that our facilities will also be up and running. Whether it is by repainting the exterior walls and floors, or by raising the lines with hooks that will give the tomcod no other choice than to hang on to them, everything must go from the floor to the chimney!!! We still have several beautiful days left to fill up with this beautiful energy brought to us by the sun and the heat. So don’t hesitate to go out and have fun because you never know when it will stop. For example last winter, in November the snow fell and stayed on the ground for several months. Not that it is unpleasant as a landscape but this one does not make the unanimity. Each season brings us its charms and the best we can do is to appreciate them at their true value. So, let’s go play outside and let’s do seasonal activities each in its own time!!!
