Spring has arrived and here, as elsewhere, we try to take advantage of it as much as possible. It must be said that nature is coming back to life and this greenery gives us the impression of being alive again and of being filled with new energy.
Have you ever looked at the flowers in the spring and felt an immense sense of gratitude for all these beauties?
Certainly every season has its charms, but spring means the return to life after a long period of dormancy. How good it is to breathe in the often fruity scent of flowers, the smell of newly grown grass, of the earth and to feel the sun warming our skin.
I have surely already told you about our beautiful river in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade; the one on which we build our beautiful village for the fishing of small channel fish during the winter. This river is in the center of our beautiful village and it is pleasant to be there in the summer to fish it for pleasure or once again for fishing. This time, it’s not tomcod that we fish but walleye or bass, species that leave the river as soon as our dear little cods arrive en masse during winter. Rest assured, they will be back as soon as spring returns.
So you understand that no matter what the season is, there is something for everyone, here and elsewhere!
