And yes, we never thought we could talk about summer this year but finally he shows up with all the best. Whether it’s the beautiful greenery or the mosquitoes because, it must be said, they are part of the summer that we look forward to. But whatever it is, you learn to live with it. This beautiful greenery that I am talking about is the most beautiful outfit that summer can wear. Along our beautiful Ste-Anne River here in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade, the greenery is abundant and its beauty makes us dream. Whether it’s in the daytime with a beautiful sun or at sunset, it’s a great place to take a walk. We often talk about fishing for small channel fish but you know that during the summer our beautiful river abounds in fish other than the good tomcod. We fish for walleye, bass and sometimes even yellow perch. It is true that the latter is rarer but it is still present. Young and old alike enjoy this beautiful activity and take advantage of the few places where it is good to stop to play in the sand with the little ones or to make a little stop to get their feet wet to refresh themselves and take advantage of the opportunity to have a little picnic. A river is always full of life and our beautiful Ste-Anne River is no exception. So when you come to visit us next winter for your day of fishing for small channel fish, be sure to know that even when there is no more ice, our river is full of life and fishermen. If you feel like it, join us in all seasons!!!
