We are back to normal, well almost. Since the curfew has been lifted, we are like children whose punishment has just ended.

As I mentioned in my previous blog, we had started the 2021-2022 fishing season with a day period and a night period. The announcement of December 31, 2021 by the government put an end to our night fishing period to the great disappointment of many fishermen and of course to ours.

As of Monday, January 17, 2022, we can reopen the evening and night fishing for our greatest happiness and that of our friends fishermen. What happiness!

It must also be said that with the norms that we can only receive family bubbles, we had to refuse many people because our cottages fill up very quickly. Some families need more than one cottage to accommodate the fishermen who are not all staying at the same address. So the opening of the evening and night periods will allow other people to have their own cozy little cottage to come and fish and have a good time with their family without forgetting the skating rink, the inflatable games and the mini-putting field. Of course there will also be the festival which will be held during the weekends from February 5th to 20th 2022.

To sum up, here in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade during the winter fishing season for small channel fish, you can’t get bored!
