At the dawn of the next channel-fish fishing season in our beautiful Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade river, I’d like to share with you the results of a study carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and CAPSA on the subject of catch-and-release, which we outfitters recommend when anglers don’t wish to return their catch after a fine day at a fishing lodge.
The fact is, many people wondered whether released fish could survive, but no one had ever checked.
I leave it to you to see for yourselves the very interesting results that emerged from the study.
